The British Heart Foundation invites the public to a free HeartStart course in July.
It will take place at Misterton Fire Station in Covert Lane on July 3, 7 to 9pm, but BHF are urging people to sign up soon as places are limited and are going fast.
The course includes performing CPR, dealing with choking, serious bleeding and how to recognise the signs of a heart attack.
A spokesman for the organisation said: “The course follows on from the success of our session on May 8. People said it was enjoyable, informative and very much appreciated.”
They added: “Why not come and join us and learn some life saving skills. If you have a group of six or more and would like a HeartStart session of your own then please get in touch. Hurry, as places are limited and will be snapped up quickly.”
