Doncaster Council is launching its new Gambling Policy.
The policy will come into effect on the January 31.
The policy enables residents and visitors to enjoy gambling but it takes account of the council’s important duty to protect children, young people and the vulnerable as well as reducing the potential risks that gambling can bring. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Cynthia Ransome, said: “This new policy aims to protect vulnerable residents and we urge local people to gamble responsibly.”
