A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in his 50s whose body was found buried on farmland at Everton, near Doncaster.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police aid yesterday: “A 22-year-old man from the South Yorkshire area has been arrested in connection with the death of a man found at farmland in Everton. Four people, a woman and three men, who were arrested on Monday remain in police custody.

“If you have any information contact the incident room on 101, extension 817 1520, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

A murder inquiry was launched after the man’s body was discovered in Middle Cross Lane, between Harwell Sluice Lane and Everton Lane, last Saturday.

A woman aged 47 and three young men were arrested on Monday and are still in police custody.
