Fine foods will be on display in Epworth this weekend for people to browse, to try and to buy.
The Epworth Spring Food Fair is back on Saturday, March 29 from 9am to 3pm with a wide range of delicious local food on offer.
Everyone is looking forward to warmer weather and the chance to have barbecues with friends and family. The Food Fair is the perfect place to start with a variety of great produce.
Around 30 stalls will fill Epworth Market Place with everything from cheese and speciality ales, to sumptuous cakes and different breads.
Returning to the Fair this year are The Axholme Brewery, Redhill Farm and Poacher Cheese, with old favourites such as Stonecrop Herbs and Fullers Bakery.
People are invited to go along, sample new foodstuffs and chat with the friendly and knowledgeable producers.
Not only will Epworth Food Fair satisfy your inner foodie but it could get you hooked on the region’s own quality produce.
Music to add to the atmosphere will be provided by Lys St Georges, and the Earthbound Misfits will provide their special brand of street entertainment.
There is free parking at both Church Street and Chapel Street car parks, and overflow parking at Epworth Leisure Centre.
Coun Liz Redfern, Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “Epworth Food Fairs are always extremely popular. The produce on offer is always of the highest quality. And what makes it even better is that you can try before you buy.
“There will be a huge selection of delicious food and drink to choose from. Once you have been to an Epworth Food Fair you are guaranteed to return.”
The food fairs in Epworth started in 2012 and have quickly become established on the Isle events calendar.
