Five vehicle smash on Dearne Valley Parkway

TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash involving five vehicles on the Dearne Valley Parkway.

The incident happened yesterday at about 5pm on the Cortonwood roundabout.

Fire crews from Doncaster and Dearne stations attended and cut one person out of a vehicle.

Another casualty managed to get out of their vehicle and both were taken to hospital for treatment.
