Fire ruins lunch at Doncaster house

FIRE crews were called to a house in Edlington, Doncaster, to deal with a kitchen blaze on Sunday lunchtime.

The cooker went up in flames at the property in Staveley Street and the firefighters spent 40 minutes dealing with it.

There were no casualties and the fire crews ventilated the property before leaving.
