Fire crews uncover Doncaster cannabis farm

firefighters found a suspected cannabis factory when they were called to a house in Hexthorpe, Doncaster, this morning.

Neighbours reported smoke and sparks coming from the interior of the terraced house in Stone Close Avenue just after midnight and when crews entered the property they found an electricity meter had been illegally bypassed.

There were also a large number of cannabis plants inside and police have launched an investigation.
