Four men have been jailed for their roles in a £2.8m fraud which saw them run up bills worth tens of thousands of pounds on mobile phone customers’ accounts.

Kaleen Hussain, aged 30, of Maynard Road, Waseem Rashid, 27, of Old Clifton Lane and Nadeem Ali, 26, of Clifton Lane, all Rotherham, were jailed for 38 months, 30 months, 21 months respectively.

Ringleader Imran Rasab, 35, of Hooton Road, Mexborough, was given four years.

DC Mark Wootton of South Yorkshire Police said they were caught after a ‘complex, four-year investigation’.
