E-fit of the man police would like to trace in connection with the theft of a mobile phone from The Cake Box on Copley Road, Doncaster.

police have released this picture in a bid to find a phone thief.

The incident happened at The Cake Box, Copley Road, around 11.30am on Saturday, November 3, when the shop owner was in the seating area at the rear of the premises using her mobile phone.

The shop was empty, and it is believed the woman left her mobile phone, a silver Apple iPhone 4, on a table for a short period of time.

It is reported that a man came in to the shop to order some food, and was left unsupervised in the shop for approximately five minutes while his food was prepared.

It is alleged that the man ate his food and left, and the woman reportedly noticed that her phone was missing.

The man is described as black, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build with a chubby face, and a local accent. Police would like to speak to this man as they believe he could assist with enquiries relating to this incident.
