Doncaster Rovers help in search for Balby teen Andrew
Andrew Gosden
THE family of a teenager who went missing five years ago will be leafleting football fans on Saturday.
Andrew Gosden disappeared from his Balby home in September 2007 at the age of 14. There have been no definite sightings of him after that day when he was spotted later on CCTV at King’s Cross station in London.
His family has since led a campaign to search for Andrew and have joined forces with Missing People in a bid to help find him.
They, along with volunteers from Missing People, will be at the Keepmoat Stadium this Saturday for the Doncaster Rovers’ match against Scunthorpe where they will be handing out leaflets to fans encouraging them to help their search.
A statement on a webpage set up to help find Andrew said: “As a family we are extremely grateful to both Doncaster Rovers and to Missing People for facilitating this link-up and hope that it will lead the way elsewhere in the UK for similar events.”
If people would like to join the team of volunteers, email kevin.gosden@hotmail.co.uk
