Doncaster motorcyclist injured in collision

A Doncaster motorcyclist has sustained minor injuries in a collision with a Mercedes.

Police in Doncaster are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at 6.35pm on Tuesday, July 15, when a man riding an orange 125cc motorcycle was travelling along York Road, Doncaster, when it is believed that a silver car was in collision with the motorcycle.

The driver of the car is reported to have got out of the car, which is believed to be a silver Mercedes A class, and allegedly verbally abused the motorcyclist before driving away from the scene.

The driver is described as being a white man of stocky build, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall, with dark hair.

He reportedly spoke with a local accent and was wearing a shirt that had a company name and logo on it.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
