Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was attacked in his own home and had money stolen by a gang of masked men.
The 51-year-old was in his flat at Rainbow Close, Thorne, when the aggravated burglary happened at 6.30pm on Sunday, January 19.
Police said he was in the bathroom when the men entered through the unlocked front door and forced him into the kitchen.
One raider threatened the man with piping and hit him at the top of his thigh, causing bruising, while another carried a small knife with a four-inch, curved, silver blade.
The burglars searched drawers and made off with £340, running in the direction of Southfield Road.
The man who assaulted the victim is described as white, around 5ft 10in, slim, with short, ginger hair.
His accomplice, who was carrying the knife, is described as white with short, dark hair, aged in his early twenties and of slim build.
A third man is said to be white, slim and also with short, dark hair and aged in his early twenties.
