Here are the crimes reported to Doncaster police on Tuesday, March 25.

House burglaries:

Belle Vue: Thieves forced their way into a house on Thoresby Avenue, Belle Vue, at around 3pm. Jewellery was taken ub the raid, crime number A28721/14.

Cantley: Raiders fled empty handed after an alarm was set off after they broke in through patio doors at a house on Temple Gardens. on Tuesday. Police say the incident shows people who have alarms should remember to set them while they are out.

Scawthorpe: Jewellery and a tablet computer were stolen after burglars entered a house on Jossey Lane, Scawthorpe, through an unlocked back door. The raid was between 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday.

Attempted burglary:

Dunsville: Criminals tried to break into a house on Orchard Close by breaking a lock bring Tuesday. They did not get into the property.

Outbuilding burglaries:

Denaby: A mountain bike worth around £500 was taken by thieves who broke into a house on Doncaster Road on Monday night.

Cantley: Power tools were stolen from a garage on Limpool Close between 4pm and 5pm on Tuesday.

Thefts:

Bentley: Ladders were stolen from the top of a Ford Transit van on Monday night. They were taken from the vehicle as it was parked on Shakespeare Road, Bentley.

Rossington: Police were called out after a water butt and a wooden garden gate were stolen from a house on Melton Close. The theft is thought to have happened between 12noon on Friday and 12noon on Monday.

Cusworth: A driver who was in a dark coloured by Ka is wanted by police after driving off without paying for £60 worth of petrol at 8pn on Tuesday. The drive-off was at the Sun Inn service station on York Road.
