Doncaster crime round-up - safe stolen from Wheatley house

The following crimes were reported to Doncaster police on June 14. Anyone with information please call South Yorkshire Police on 101.

Wheatley: Burglars forced a rear patio door to gain entry to a house in Wheatley Hall Road yesterday afternoon and stole a safe, a quantity of jewllery, and personal documents.

Woodlands: A house in Beaumont Avenue was burgled during daylight yesterday when a side door was damaged. The keys to a Land Rover were obtained to steal the vehicle, which has not yet been recovered.

Edlington: A young boy had his mobile phone stolen while it was unattended when he was playing football with friends at a playing field in Broomhouse Lane yesterday.

Balby: Insecure cars parked in Huxterwell Drive and Wellingley Road were entered on Friday night and laptop computers were taken from both. A jacket and a phone were stolen when a car parked in Chappell Drive, Doncaster, was broken into yesterday afternoon.
