The following crimes were reported to Doncaster police over the weekend. Anyone with information should call 101.
Wadworth: Burglars got into a house in Windmill Drive through an insecure door last night and stole two watches and a safe. The safe was later recovered intact on the cricket field off Wadworth Hall Lane where banging noises had been heard at 3.30am and a crowbar was found nearby.
Wheatley: Intruders broke the panel of the kitchen door at a house in Lincoln Road and stole a a games console and games worth around £1,000
Hyde Park: The occupier of a house in Chequer Road heard noises about 1am today and found two mountain bikes worth £1,700 had been stolen from a shed. Two men climbed over a wall into Elmfield Park with the bikes and tools were found abandoned.
Bentley: High Street Primary School was burgled over the weekend but nothing appears to have been stolen.
Skellow: Thieves unscrewed the hinges of a shed door in Acacia Road and stole a £400 mountain bike.
Moorends: A bike was stolen from outside the One-Stop shop on Park Road in the space of 10 minutes yesterday while the the owner was inside.
Town centre: A chained-up bike was stolen from a rack in Priory Walk on Saturday evening.
Thorne: The owner of a touring caravan parked in the garden of a house in Union Road heard the alarm going off early today and found the battery had been stolen.
Braithwell: The spare wheel of a Mercedes Sprinter van was stolen when it was parked in Doncaster Road on Saturday night.
Dunsville: Two artificial topiary trees in large terracotta pots were taken from outside a house in St George’s Avenue on Friday night.
