Bentley: Two men have been arrested in connection with the theft of a Ford Escort in West End Avenue. Two figures had been seen running away from the scene on Saturday at 10am. The duo have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Bawtry: Thieves stole jewellery and electrical goods from a home in Beaufont Gardens between Sunday at 9.30am and Wednesday at 1pm. Entry was gained by snapping a lock on the patio door.
Mexborough: A laptop and iPod was stolen from a home in Church Street on Wednesday between 11.30am and 1.15pm. Thieves got in by smashing a back window.
Thorne: Thieves stole two mountain bikes from a shed in Waterside between Sunday at 3pm and Monday at 9am.
Rossington: Four mountain bikes were takes from a shed in Hyperion Way. The padlock was forced off the shed in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Armthorpe: Thieves siphoned £300 worth of diesel from a Renault lorry parked in Westmoor Link Road. It happened between Wednesday at 4pm and Thursday at 1am.
Balby: A wallet containing £20 was taken from a parked blue Ford Mondeo in Ronald Road on Monday between 6pm and 7.30pm.
Cantley: Thieves stole a sat nav from a gold Nissan Micra in Elmham Road between Tuesday at 6pm and Wednesday at 8.30am.
Town centre: A black Mercedes car was stolen from Christchurch Road on Wednesday between 8pm and 11pm. The owner had dropped his keys in the street.
Town centre: A pedal cycle, left unlocked in the foyer of Tesco in Church Way, was stolen on Wednesday at 7.20pm. The suspect who allegedly took it is described as a white man, aged about 20, 5ft 8ins tall, with a tattoo of ‘Milo’ on his neck.
Town centre: Vandals smashed three windows at a bird hide at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve, causing £200 worth of damage. The incident happened on Tuesday at 5pm.
