The following crimes were reported to Doncaster police over the weekend. Anyone with information should call 101.

Bessacarr: Three youths who stole a lawnmower from a property in Rose Hill Rise yesterday afternoon made their way onto the racecourse but were followed and challenged by the owner’s neighbour and the machine was abandoned.

Dunscroft: Thieves who forced the padlock of a container at a farm in Station Road on Saturday morning got away with horse riding tack, saddles and equipment valued at £3,000.

Wheatley Hills: A strimmer was taken from the shed of a house in Oakhill Road over the weekend.

Town centre: Thieves broke into a car on the Greyfriars Road car park and took a CD player.

Skellow: A roof rack was stolen from a Ford Transit van parked in Lodge Road on Friday night.

Bentley: The electric wing mirrors were stolen from a Volkswagen car parked in Royston Avenue in the early hours of Friday.

Tickhill: The fence of a house in Meadow Rise was damaged by thieves who took a lawnmower from the rear garden on Saturday afternoon.
