Dunscroft: A Ford Transit parcel delivery van worth £22,000 was stolen from the Broadway at 1.30pm yesterday after the driver left the keys in it, but fortunately police traced it to Pinefield Road, Barnby Dun, a short time later and the contents were intact.
Warmsworth: Burglars got into a house in Tenter Lane through an insecure conservatory window on Monday night and stole a camera, laptop, handbag and £170 cash.
Dunscroft: The patio door of a house in Wigford Green was smashed yesterday between 7am and 3pm and the raiders got away with £2,000 worth of property, including a TV, mobile phone, iPad and jewellery.
Wheatley Hills: Burglars tried to force the door lock of a house in Fern Close on Monday night but because it was a new-style euro lock they could not get in.
Mexborough: The church hall in New Oxford Road was burgled between Sunday evening and 8pm Monday when the intruders removed bricks from the wall to gain entry and steal a flat-screen TV and audio system.
Hatfield: A £250 pedal cycle left on the drive of a property in Victoria AVenue was stolen between 3.30 and 4.30pm yesterday.
Wheatley: A 13-year-old boy left his £400 bike chained up near the trolley bay outside Iceland on Thorne Road yesterday and returned to find it had been stolen.
Town centre: More phones have been reported stolen from handbags belonging to women at the Graffiti bar in Silver Street and Rock-a-hula on Lazarus Court.
