A drug dealer has been sentenced to four years behind bars today (Wednesday, March 26) after being found guilty of possession with intent to supply and the supply of class A drugs.
Scott Turner, 23, of Bainbridge Road in Balby, was charged with supplying heroin, supplying crack cocaine and possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
Following a two-day trial, Turner was found guilty and sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court to four years in prison for each of the offences, to be served concurrently.
Detective Constable Scott Barley said: “I am pleased that Turner has been brought to justice.
“Drugs are a blight on society and cause untold misery for countless families across Doncaster and beyond.
“I would like to thank all those involved in the investigation, whose hard work has successfully led to a drug dealer being put behind bars for a significant period of time.”
Turner was arrested on October 10 last year and charged the same day. He has been on remand since that date.
