The team at the Doncaster branch of Leeds Building Society are selling SpongeBob SquarePants key ring trolley tokens, for a suggested donation of £2, on behalf of Jeans for Genes.
The keyrings are available now in the branch, at 8 Frenchgate, Doncaster, DN1 1QQ, until the end of September and including Jeans for Genes Day itself on Friday 19th September.
Melissa Foulis (pictured), Leeds Building Society Doncaster Branch Manager said, “Leeds Building Society is a long standing supporter of Jeans for Genes, and we are very pleased to be supporting the charity again this year in Doncaster.”
Laura Pattison, Campaign Director at Jeans for Genes said: “I’d like to thank Leeds Building Society’s Doncaster branch for promoting our SpongeBob key ring trolley tokens. Selling these is a very important part of our appeal as it has the potential to significantly add to the total raised on Jeans for Genes Day. In 2014, 25 charities will benefit from Jeans for Genes Day helping provide the vital care and support children and families need.”
Genetic disorders affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK – that’s more than 30,000 babies born each year. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest cause of death of children aged 14 and under.
