Peter Dale, Director of Regeneration and Environment at Doncaster Council, said: “The UK’s decision to leave the EU will need to be considered carefully in terms of financial impact on funded projects. It is too early to say what those implications are as we need to digest the legal and financial position and the planned exit date from the EU which is yet to be communicated to us.

Doncaster has benefitted from EU funding to the tune of almost £133m since 1994 ranging from the creation and support of business parks, civic and culture quarter, transport, education and skills and community support.”
