The new branch will be led by Chris Noble, who joins Howarth Timber and Building Supplies having amassed more than 17 years’ experience in the industry.

Nicholas Howarth, managing director of Howarth Timber and Building Supplies, said: “The acquisition will allow us to expand the product ranges available to customers, with building supplies added to the already excellent timber offering at the store.

“With the Thorne branch of Howarth Timber located eight miles away on the outskirts of Doncaster, and led by the newly promoted regional manager John Brandon, this new branch enhances our presence in the town and ensures the region’s tradespeople are covered. The introduction of building materials to the product offering at the branch will also ensure the outlet offers more choice in new areas.”
