Doncaster assault victim said to be improving
CRIME: Crime scene.
DETECTIVES have been able to interview the victim of a serious assault near Doncaster town centre last weekend after he showed signs of improvement.
They believe up to three men attacked the 39-year-old at the bottom of Kings Road, near the Broxholme Lane junction, on Saturday afternoon.
He was initially unconscious from head injuries and detained in Doncaster Royal Infirmary but a police spokesman said the man’s condition has improved and he is awake and talking.
No arrests have been made as yet but police say they are following lines of enquiry.
