Firefighters were called to a diesel fire at the Roberts Road train depot in Balby last night.
The call was received at 11.09pm on Friday and four pumps, two from Doncaster, one from Edlington and one from Maltby were raced to the scene.
Involved was a 65,000 litre diesel tank which was being used to fuel a train when the motor set alight.
Firefighters used high expansion foam to put out the blaze.
No-one was injured.
Crews left the scene at 12.59am.
