ASDA at Denaby is appealing for local groups to be nominated for their green token cash prize.

Customers are given a green token which they deposit in one of three chutes near the entrance to the store.

Events organiser Sarah Armstrong said: “We are looking for people to put groups forward for our community board. Not many are coming forward and we are loooking for nominees for March. It could be any community group from a knitting club to a children’s club.

The current groups are Crags Corner TARA, Netherlands Dog Rescue at Kilnhurst and Ivanhoe Primary Academy at Conisbrough.

The winning charity is donated £100 by the store.
