Brave male students at Dearne Valley College went through the pain barrier by volunteering for a charity waxing session.
Students and staff from the Sports department including Drew Atkinson (pictured) braved the college’s training and commercial salon, Aspirations, to raise vital funds as part of an ongoing fundraising campaign for the charity, Parkinsons UK, among others.
They grimaced and took the pain as they had their legs and bodies waxed. One student even went as far as undergoing a half body wax and a head shave as part of the event, which has so far helped to raise £800.
