DEARNE residents are invited to find out more about fostering at a special information event organised by Action for Children.

The charity is calling for more people to consider fostering, after a shortage of 750 carers in Yorkshire and the Humber was revealed.

The free event takes place at The Point, South Parade, Doncaster, from 11am on Wednesday, December 5. To book a place contact 07889 603620.
