TV fame for Mexborough School

SUPER-SLIMMER Julia Whitehouse will stop at nothing to get that bikini body... even if it means daring to bare all, live on telly!

And that's just what she did recently, when Mrs Motivator – alias GMTV star Deanne Berry – turned up at Mexborough School to put her through her paces.

Julia has been appearing in her swim costume daily on GMTV as part of celebrity fitness guru Mr Motivator's Bikini Diet challenge, whilst on a cruise around the Mediterranean.

When the 42-year-old mum-of-three – from Rawmarsh – returned from sailing around Greece, Turkey and Italy this week, Mr Motivator's assistant, Deanne, came back with her... to make sure she was keeping up the good work.

And the Times was on hand, as the pair then put a classload of school children through a homecoming workout too!

Julia – a pastoral care manager at the school – had been tasked to complete daily workouts live on the ITV morning show, all under the tuition of Mr Motivator.

Julia, who is 5ft 7ins, weighed 13st 7lb at the start of the challenge but she has already managed to shed half a stone – and is well on track to reach her target of losing two stone.

Julia told the Times: "It was really good having Deanne here and having the pupils doing the routines with us.

"I've been picked to represent the pear shaped woman and I've been doing exercise and eating the right foods to combat that.

"The kids are really interested to see how I'm getting on and even the kitchen staff are asking me about different things they would be able to make that fit with the diet."

Julia was put forward for the programme by daughter Elizabeth and she said, the cruise proved a great way to kick-off her new healthier lifestyle.

She said: "The cruise was great; it was so luxurious, and to have two fantastic people in Mr Motivator and Deanne there to help and guide us through everything was brilliant".

Julia added: "I've done diets before but never the exercise as well. "

Fitness instructor Deanne Berry is also pleased with her progress, and told the Times "I've been lucky enough to come here to see how Julia is getting on and it's been great to see where she works because this is a fantastic building.

"She's doing really well, working very hard with both the exercise and the diet.

"The kids were brilliant and were really enthusiastic about doing the routines with us.

It's hard to get kids out of bed in the morning – but they were all here bright and early, and really gave it a good go."
