A TEENAGER was taken to hospital with multiple injuries after she was hit by a car in Mexborough.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident on Doncaster Road, which left the woman with a broken arm and leg and deep lacerations. The road was sealed off after the incident at 8.45pm on Saturday, near Melton Road. Any witnesses call 101 quoting incident number 1020 26 January.
