THE following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences.

MEXBOROUGH: A fraudster hacked into an eBay account to buy a Ford Focus car and computer games worth just over £940. Andrew Fishlock has received a 12 month conditional discharge after posing to be a person from Peterlee, County Durham. Fishlock, 29, of York Street, pleaded guilty to the June 5 fraud. He was ordered to pay £940 compensation to his victim.

THORNE: Driving without insurance has cost a motorist £700. Jamie Wolny, 33, of Canal View, admitted the offence after a Toyota Corolla was stopped in the street where he lives on March 12. He was fined £600 with £100 costs.

BALBY: A thief who stole tools and golf clubs has received 80 hours of unpaid work. Anthony Armtstrong pleaded guilty to pinching the goods on May 25. The 39-year-old of Low Road was ordered to pay £85 costs. Armstrong was subject to a conditional discharge at the time.

BENTLEY: A sunglasses thief has proved to be dim after he was jailed for eight weeks. Karl Greaves, 38, who had a history of theft and burglary offences, pinched the glasses, a lipstick and a charger, worth a total of £200 on May 25, the same day he was in possession of cannabis. Greaves, of Riveria Mount, admitted both offences and was also ordered to pay £200 compensation.

TOWN CENTRE: A drink driver has received 120 hours of unpaid work and a two year motoring ban for taking a car without permission. Jeanie McGonigle admitted driving a Ford Fiesta in Sandall Beat Road on May 23 while over the legal limit. The 32-year-old of Allerton Street also admitted taking the car without consent, driving without a valid licence and insurance.

THORNE: A vandal has been handed a community order for smashing £70 worth of ornaments. Gavin Antley, 30, of Millfield Road, must comply with a nine month supervision, pay £70 compensation and £85 costs following the disturbance on May 25. He admitted criminal damage and breaching the peace.

BALBY: Stealing a £4.49 bottle of booze has cost a thief nearly £200. Alec Wearing must undertake nine months treatment for alcohol addition, pay nearly £120 compensation and £80 costs. Wearing, 42, of Hall Flat Lane admitted shoplifting from Sainsburys on May 28. He asked for five offences to be taken into consideration.
