The popular Continental Market is set to return to Doncaster once again next week.
The arrival of the award-winning global market is set to bring an International flavour to St Sepulchre Gate from Thursday until Sunday with a selection of traders from around the world offering a mouth-watering selection of global goodies.
Shoppers will be spoilt for choice at this free international event.
A great selection of mouth-watering food will be available at the Global Market including: freshly made Spanish Paella, delicious Bratwurst Sausages from a traditional German Schwenkgrill alongside a tasty selection of cheeses, jams, chutneys and crackers.
Market Place operations manager, Chris Hulley said: “Our traders shall be offering Doncaster a selection of flavours from all across the globe offering something for the whole family. It has been great to see all the attention this event has received so far and a number of new traders to our team will make it even more special. It shall definitely be the place to be this March!”
The market shall also be welcoming new traders Designed2Eat Ltd who are to offer Doncaster tasty Fudge Brownie, Banana Bread, Lemon Bar, Mashed up Macaroon, Bana-Chic and Choc Bakie, Coco-
nutty Cookie treats.
Charlotte Dickinson, owner of Designed2Eat Ltd said: “We are very excited about joining the team for the Global Market. It’s great to be part of something that offers affordable quality produce in a family friendly environment.”
Dutch Flowers on Tour (a very popular part of the offering) will be brightening up the market with an array of plants, shrubs, bulbs and so much more. Heatherhill Farm Meats shall also be joining the market with their delicious hot roast pork with stuffing and apple sauce and Sweets of Yesteryear will be bringing homemade giant cookies, waffles, large chocolate muffins and chocolate creations.
Kiec Gardens will also be in Doncaster with some great garden furniture and adorable flower pot people.
A Doncaster Council spokesman said: “We are delighted to welcome this ‘global market’. Doncaster already bucks the trend of some towns which are struggling as it has a vibrant, bustling centre – and we are delighted that this special market will attract even more people. It will be a chance for people to indulge in some interesting international food!”
