Conisbrough: Pensioner injured in burglary attack
Police are investigating an aggravated burglary in Conisbrough in which a 71-year-old man sustained a head injury.
The incident happened at an address on Holywell Lane at 7.45am on Tuesday, 29 January, when the occupant disturbed an intruder. The pensioner was treated at Doncaster Royal Infirmary for a stab wound but the injury was not life threatening.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and burglary.
