IF you have ever thought there may be some hidden treasure hidden in your house, dig it out for a television auction show.

BBC2’s flagship antique show Flog It! will be visiting Normanby Hall Country Park near Scunthorpe for a valuation day, where their team of experts will be on hand to let people know whether they have hidden treasure.

The show, which regularly gets two million viewers for its weekday shows will be bringing its expert team to carry out free valuations on Thursday, July 19 from 9.30am to 4pm.

Heidi Ellert, Series Producer, said: “Paul Martin and the entire Flog It! team are really looking forward to bringing the show to North Lincolnshire.

“We all hope you will join us for a free valuation, if you’ve ever wondered how much your boot sale bargains or clutter in the loft might be worth, now is your chance to find out.”

Previous programmes have seen a small cream jug sold at auction for £1,300; a ceramic bowl, bought for £4 at a car boot sale, achieving £1,500 and even a ceremonial cup which sold for £44,000.

Items selected by the antiques experts to appear in the programme with then be put in to auction at a Lincoln saleroom on Wednesday, August 15 and screened later in the year as part of the show’s 11th series.
