two cars have been destroyed in a series of arson attacks.

Firefighters were called to Old Epworth Road West in Hatfield at 1.30am on Saturday after a car was set alight.

Firefighters from Thorne Station used a hose reel to put out the fire and left the scene around 2.10am.

The make of the car was unknown.

Meanwhile firefighters from Adwick attended a car blaze at 3am on Sunday in Skellow Road, Skellow.

The Rovers was completely destroyed in the blaze.

Both fires have been logged as deliberate.
