Car destroyed in blaze

A CAR was gutted by fire after being dumped and deliberately set ablaze.

The vehicle was so badly damaged that crews from Thorne fire station called out to attend the incident were unable to ascertain the exact make and model of the car, although it is thought to be a Vauxhall Astra.

The incident happened at around 9.15pm on Monday at Moor Edges, Thorne.
