Cancer care centre set for funding

THE Aurora Wellbeing Centre in Mexborough is one of a number of charities to benefit from a fundraising scheme.

The centre, which offers beauty treatments to cancer patients, will be supported throughout 2013 by internet service provider littlebigone.com.

New customers upgrading their internet connections to the provider will be asked to nominate either Aurora, Barnsley Youth Choir, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice or Rotherham-based SAFE@LAST for a £10 donation.

Peter Bradley, campaign manager for Aurora, said: “It is the first initiative of its kind we are aware of and we look forward to it being a terrific success.”
