Part of Thorne town centre was sealed off this morning after police uncovered a cannabis factory.
Traffic was unable to travel along South Parade after South Yorkshire Police officers raided premises on the street.
A spokesman said it was too early to say how many cannabis plants had been found.
First bus services 87 and 88 were diverted along King Street and onto The Green and Filed Road to avoid the scene.
South Parade was re-opened to traffic around 11.30am.
Further details of the police operation will be released tomorrow.
