POLICE have launched a hunt this lunchtime to trace a Wath man missing from home.

Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 47-year-old Mohan Singh, known locally as John, who has not been seen by friends and family for two days.
He was last seen at his work - the Spar in Quarry Hill Road, Wath, at around 10.40am on Monday, After leaving the shop he turned left into Quarry Hill Road towards Sandygate. There have been no further sightings or contact with friends or family since.
Mr Singh is described as Asian, about 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build. He has brown eyes, brown short hair and a full beard.
He speaks with a Yorkshire accent and was last seen wearing a hooded grey knitted jacket with brown patches on the elbows, dark casual trousers and blue suede-effect lace up shoes.
He may also be wearing a silver bangle on his right wrist and a gold ring on his right hand.
Mr Singh’s family is growing concerned as his clothing is described as not suitable for the current weather, and it is uncharacteristic for him not to be in touch. He left without significant personal items including his mobile telephone.
Police would like any information about Mr Singh’s whereabouts to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 344 of November 26, 2012
