A Thurnscoe man has been charged with attempted murder and robbery following Wath-Upon-Dearne shooting, which left a man critically injured.

Stephen Barry Rodgers, 29, from Thurnscoe has been charged with attempted murder and robbery on Saturday, 20 October, 2012, in relation to an incident on Doncaster Road, Wath-Upon-Dearne on Thursday, 20 September, 2012.

Stephen Rodgers appeared at Rotherham Magistrates court on Monday, 22 October, 2012, where he was remanded in custody. He is next due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday, October 29.
