BREAKING NEWS: Hannah Bonser denies murder

HANNAH Bonser has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Casey-Lyanne Kearney.

Bonser, 26, of Cusworth House, Doncaster, denied murder over a video link and faced two other counts of possessing a bladed article at Sheffield Crown Court this morning.

MacAuley Catholic High School pupil Casey died on February 14 after being stabbed outside Elmfield Park in Bennetthorpe.

She dialled 999 to tell them she had been stabbed, but despite paramedics and police being on the scene within minutes, the teenager died at Doncaster Royal Infirmary later that night.

After her death there was an outpouring of grief from around the world, with thousands paying tribute to Casey on social media sites.

A trial date has been set for July 2 at Sheffield Crown Court.
