BREAKING NEWS: Delays after person hit by train at Adwick

RAIL passengers are facing delays after reports of a person being hit by a train near Adwick.

Services between Doncaster and Leeds are subject to delays following the incident which is believed to have taken place in the last hour.

The incident comes just days after man was killed on the same stretch of track near Adwick station at 5.30am on Tuesday.

And in a separate incident on the same day, a woman in her 30s was airlifted to hospital after she was hit by a train at Thorne South railway station.
