BREAKING: Murder probe after OAP found dead in Doncaster

Police sealed off a house in Warmsworth, Doncaster, this afternoon after an elderly woman was found dead.

Officers were called to an address on Norbreck Road during the early hours of this morning where her body was discovered.

A police spokesman said they were treating the woman’s death as suspicious and a 67-year-old man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place this afternoon.

Officers investigating this incident are appealing for witnesses, or for anyone with information, to call south Yorkshire Police immediately on 101, quoting reference 32 of March 12.
