Police respond to a threat at Consort House in Doncaster's town centre.

Part of Doncaster town centre was sealed off this morning after a firm received a bomb threat.

Police ordered the evacuation of Consort House and blocked traffic from entering Waterdale between Hall Gate and Chequer Road.

About 50 staff left the building for an hour as sniffer dogs searched the offices of the A4E employment agency on the third floor, where a telephone threat had been received around 9.50am.

They were allowed back just before 11am after the all-clear was given and police are investigating.
