Fire crews spent four hours tackling a large derelict warehouse blaze in Wheatley, Doncaster, early today.
Some of the roads round Athron Street and Queens Road were closed as 15 firefighters put out the flames which were shooting through the roof of the old sweet factory and Factory Carpets warehouse.
The alarm was raised just before 3.30am and most of the 40m long building was ablaze when the crews from Doncaster station arrived.
Watch Manager Darryl Johnson said there were several seats of fire and it was definitely a case of arson.
There was no need to evacuate nearby houses and road were re-opened in time for the rush hour.
