AN ICONIC bike which has stood outside a Doncaster flower shop for seven years was stolen in broad daylight.

The vintage bike with a flower basket at the front was stolen from outside the Oops A Daisy store in Station Road in Askern.

Manager Val Lind, who works alongside Vicki Harrison, was shocked to discover the bike missing on Friday at about 12.30pm.

She said: “We are distraught, that bike was like our third member of staff here. We take such pride in our work, this is really disheartening.”
