The first phase of a major new affordable homes development in Doncaster has been completed.

The 22 houses, that are part of the Six Streets regeneration scheme, will be available for rent in Cooper Street, near Doncaster town centre.

The houses will be part of 123 new homes in the area.

Housing provider Guinness Northern Counties has been selected by Doncaster Council to manage the properties.

The overall development will comprise 86 homes for sale, 22 properties for rent and 15 homes for shared ownership. The project is set to be completed by 2014.
