A1 delays after car blaze

A LANE of the A1(M) motorway had to be closed after a car caught fire accidentally.

There were minor traffic delays after the vehicle caught fire between junctions 34 and 35 on the southbound carriageway.

No-one was injured in the incident, dealt with by crews from Edlington fire station, shortly after 8pm on Sunday.
