A cheap shop offers “Saint Ed” a SURVIVAL kit!
Politics is said to be a dog-eat-dog world where only the toughest survive...
So a local discount shop has put together a special “survival” kit to help Mexborough’s MP – dubbed “Saint Ed” for his LOW expense claims during last year’s scandal – stay in his tough new job.
The shop, 99p Stores, is offering “saintly” Mr Miliband the “99p Stores MPs suvival kit” for free.
The kit comprises a free twin-pack of alarm clocks, a giant calculator and a bottle of HP sauce with a Big Ben logo.
The pack, has been made by the chain’s Doncaster store in honour of Mr Miliband’s victory but other MPs are welcome to it too.
Boss of 99p Stores, Hussein Lalani, said: “We have offered this kit to all MP s – including the sinners – but there have been no takers”.
