Library sessions for all the family

FAMILIES can take part in a special project to build robots with moving parts at Swinton Library.

The activity will be held on Thursday, June 7, from 3.30-6pm, and is open for youngsters aged five to eight to attend with their parents and grandparents.

The free session involves building toy cars and trucks with moving wheels and a minature working engine.

Rita Leary, principal library assistant, said: “These sessions are held at the library every few weeks and they are always very popular with visitors.

“It’s a great way for kids to learn and for families to spend some time together.”

To register for the session, contact the library 01709 583116.
