* Other Misterton news:

More recently, he was a club steward in Buckinghamshire before moving to the Gainsborough area. There, he has been a relief publican and events co-ordinator/chair of the Riverside Festival. THERE’s an open evening on Thursday October 6, 4-7pm, for visitors to see the new Diana, Princess of Wales Breastcare Unit at Bassetlaw Hospital. All are invited – just turn up. The £1.2m development includes a new mammography machine paid for through donations to the Bassetlaw Breastcare Appeal. This has doubled the mammography unit in size so that it is better able to cope with some 6000 women a year who require breast screening.
